Christine Newsome

Artist Bio:

Christine Is a mixed media collage artist living and working in Chilliwack, B.C. She is a retired art teacher with a Master’s Degree in Art Education.

Christine was born in England and by the time she was ten, her family had either lived in, or visited, thirteen countries. This vagabond childhood gave her avid interest in travel, history and world culture…things that strongly inform her work today.

Christine works intuitively, nothing is pre-planned. She finds this process challenging and exhilarating …and considers it to be creativity in it’s purest form.
